Apple is trumpeting it’s new Iphone as the greatest thing since internet porn, but what is so good about it? It has picture messaging now, which the Razr had 10 years ago, wow! It is a bit cheaper, O.K., but what about the people that aren’t eligible for an upgrade? They get hosed big time. One still can’t tether this stupid thing, and even if you could, AT&T would charge you for it.

That is the biggest bitch I have against Apple and AT&T. They want to lock people into long-term, overpriced, overhyped plans that simply rip people off. People really do seemed to look only at the price of the phone and not what they are going to pay for the next two years. For instance, some providers charge $30 a month just to tether your phone, T-Mobile charges nothing. So, why do people pay so much for old school technology, just because the phone looks cute? The new Iphone itself isn't that crappy, but paying much more for the same technology other phones have just seems insane. So, why can’t other companies simply copy the look of the Iphone, price their plans lower and put the hurt on AT&T? It makes too much sense I guess.
